This version includes the SDKs for iOS 14, iPadOS 14, macOS Catalina, tvOS 14, and watchOS 7. Download from the Mac App Store. As per your convenience, you can choose to either use composer for download the project and install all its dependencies automatically or directly download the project archive that comes pre-packaged with all of the project dependencies already installed. We recommend using composer over direct download whenever possible. Xcode 4.2 is the last version to support Mac OS X 10.6 'Snow Leopard', but is available only to registered developers with paid accounts; without a paid account, 3.2.6 is the latest download that appears for Snow Leopard. Xcode includes a new 'Downloads' preference pane to install optional components such as command line tools, and previous iOS Simulators. To open this pane click the 'Xcode' button in the top left of the screen near the Apple logo, then click 'Preferences', then click 'Downloads'.
